My family (my husband, 1-year-old, and 5-year-old) and I live in Maine, where we embrace the outdoors as a way of life.
I’m passionate about getting outside, whether it’s a weekend camping trip, a cross-country skiing excursion, or hiking local trails. Outdoor parenting is key to how we raise our kids, and we love sharing these experiences together, no matter how big or small.
As we adventure through the state, I love pairing support for local food and businesses with our outings. I am rarely caught without my camera and have a passion for photography. I’m always aiming to capture the moments and landscapes that define our experiences.
Ventured North is where I share my love for outdoor exploration, from quick tips and family-friendly outings, with some bigger adventures sprinkled in. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer or just starting out, I hope to inspire you to get outside and make the most of every adventure.
